Rodney Stark is a renowned scholar and researcher, and is recognized as one of the foremost sociologists working in the field of sociology of religion. Outdated and Unhelpful. Difficult to find an intact copy.

First of all, the workbook pages were missing and this has happened in 3 copies of this textbook that I have purchased. Even "new" books were often missing pages. I recommend trying to buy this book from Alibris or Abe Books. Honestly, professors need to stop assigning this book because it is outdated and unhelpful.

Great text book

This text is easy to follow and as an intro to statistical & critical thinking it helps make a difficult subject very understandable.
Con: Do not buy a used book, the homework is suppose to be done in the book and even though my usedbook looked brand new it was missing 3 chapters.
